Twelve princesses, each possessing riches, grace, power and dignity. Yet despite the sister's charmed lives - and despite the handsome men who desire them - they are woefully unfulfilled, frustrated and aching for something more. As a powerful wizardess helps to solve the riddle of their discontent, each princess discovers creative - and naughty - ways to satisfy her passionate cravings and desperate needs.
WOO. That looks great.

I think the OP means erotic like explicit. Like Maya Banks, Laura Leigh, Jaid Black (god I love her stories), etc. These are aka "romantica" books.

K, so I just rented from the library- "Bullet" by Laurell K. Hamilton. I really really liked the Anita Blake story line up until she stopped writing the STORY LINE and started writing about orgies. I mean, I like a good sex scene, but these have just barely enough of a plot to string the bedroom scenes together to make sense. I'm a bit annoyed actually. But these definately fall under "erotic novels".

The biggest charge I've ever gotten from a book were from Nancy Friday's collection where other women shared their fantasies. Yes, every single type of fantasy was delved into. Not really mild-core- Cinderella stories, but just unabashed every day women's fantasies that most wouldn't talk about. The Beauty books were ok but got old.

Lorelei James Rough Riders series are probably the best erotic books I have ever read. If you like these type of books check them out.

I'm a woman, and I read erotica. I also read romance, and I also read porn. Yes, there's a HUGE difference between the three.

Bridget Jones, Shopaholic, those kinds of books are romance.

Jackie Collins, Kathleen Woodiwiss, many others... erotica

The Sleeping Beauty series, the Black Jewel trilogy, The Marketplace series.... porn.

All of the above? FUN.
