I read Son of a Which. It was alright. I guess it depends on how much you liked Wicked. I didn't think Son of a Which was as good as Wicked, but if you were fairly into Wicked then you'll likely still enjoy it.

Son of a Witch: not as good as Wicked honestly. I personally wouldn't bother unless you want to read about the main character and continue reading about this version of Oz. if you like Gregory Maguire's style of writing, I would recommend Confessions of an Ugly Sister (retelling of Cinderella from the POV of one of the stepsisters) over Son of a Witch

Child Called It: the near literary equivalent of torture porn movies. Just the story of a kid who is horrifically abused by mother. Supposed to be uplifting, a story of perseverance and survival, but for me personally, it wasn't a pleasant read and don't recall being very uplifted (Night, did a better job in this matter, IMO).

I have read "A Child Called It". If you are planning on buying, be prepared to either cry or feel sick. It is such a hearbreaking story of a boy, who was basically tormented by his mother in the most unbelievable ways. It is based on the true story, how much of it was really true we don't know, but we do know that the author in general has a terrible horrific childhood. I don't regret reading this book, but I could never bring myself to read it again. I was pregnant when I read it and I was throwing up after a certain part.

I've read A Child Called It & have heard the author speak on his childhood. Unless you have a strong stomach I wouldn't read it. It's not for the faint of heart. Don't get me wrong, I would totally recommend reading it but only if you know what you are getting into 1st. I heard him speak before I read the book so I was prepared for the types of things in the book and was still shocked. It absoutly blew me away. And I read it as a teenager.

It talks about how he was horrifically abused & mistreated by his mother while his father, brothers, & teachers stood by & did nothing. He was made to do such terrible things at the hands of his own mother that it makes you litterly sick to read about it. It's based on the authors actual childhood, it's not based on fiction & that's what makes the story even more heartbreaking.

I've read Necro-Anda, it's a good one The author is working on a second novel about a serial killer, I've heard..

I haven't read the other two titles, though.
