Never heard of Nos. 1, 2 and 3 on my list, but Atlas Shrugged in No. 4.

August, 1958.

EDIT: OOPS--the order of date and month that you enter are switched from what is usual. I redid it and now I don't recognize any of the titles on the list.

No. 1 in non-fiction was Russia Today.

And for those of you who think they are old, I just told my daughter sitting across the room from me about this site, and then asked her what her date of birth was so I could put it in. It took me about ten seconds to realize why she was staring at me with her eyebrows raised, lol.

She was born in August, 1991. The first four were The Sum of All Fears, The Firm, The Kitchen God's Wife, and Maximum Bob. I've read all but Kitchen, which I have somewhere.

Fiction: Don't Go Near the Water - never heard of it but I LOVE water!
I checked the previous week and it was the same.
Apparently it was made into a movie tho

Dont Go Near the Water is a lighthearted, comedic war novel, dealing with public relations officers in the United States Navy during World War II. In the novel, the officers are assigned to the fictional Pacific island of Tulura (reminiscent of the island of Guam), which became the advanced headquarters of the Pacific Fleet during World War II.

I was born in September of 1946. I read hundreds of books yearly and I have since an early age but I don't recall reading any of the bestsellers on the list in 1946. However I just finished a book today that I didn't realize I had already read just a few months ago.
