I read an article today where the author made reference to a book where people sold memories like we sell plasma. The main character was an addict who swore they'd never sell their memory of falling in love but their addiction gave in and they ended up selling out. Sounded really interesting, does this sound familiar to anyone?

Thanks

I'm not familiar with the book but I hope someone knows the title. It sounds like an interesting book.

Assuming it was the article on 20 Questions that can change your life by Martha Beck, perhaps you could drop the author's staff an email asking if she possibly recalls the title? It does sound intriguing.

I'll sell a few of my memories if anyone wants to buy 'em.

Merry Sisters of Fate - Guest Fiction: "The Most Precious Memory" by Beth Revis

Could be there. Googled a search on the general premise, and came up with the above. "The Most Precious Memory" by Beth Revis. I'm thinking it's just a short story, though.
