I know this thread is kind of old but I just wanted to revive it to ask you if you ever read Dean Koontz "The Taking" that book just sucked me in. I even remember seeing it on TV back in the 90's but I think it was written under a different name either that or Koontz stole some ideas for his book from that old movie.

Michael Koryta is so good. I have devoured his books. I first read "So Cold the River." It was so good I went to the Library and got on the list for " The Cypress House" and "The Ridge."

I have loved everything he has written.
