Someone gave me the first 3 books in this series,

Daughter of the Blood,
Heir to the Shadows,
Queen of the Darkness,

I don't normally read this type of fantasy series but wow these really are good! I read the follow up books too and have liked them all. Very detailed and great characters. Think there are 9 books so far.
