Just finished "The Best of Adam Sharp" by Graeme Simsion https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/...om_search=true

This is the same author who wrote "The Rosie Project".

Again, it was an enjoyable enough read, not a "knock your socks off" read.

Just finished The Samaritan by Mason Cross & can’t decide if I want to continue with Time to Kill another traditional book of which I still have a large stack of or join Kindle unlimited again and read Hail Warning the sequel to Operation Hail Storm which I enjoyed immensely. I think I’ll continue trying to shrink my stack of books and leave the Kindle alone for a while.

Yes, I almost stopped reading then and there when the abuse came up in My Absolute Darling. But I'm glad I didn't. I think what one can bear varies depending on the day, and even the hour. Sometimes I've started reading a sample and really enjoyed it but put it down in order to read more and purchase later, only to find when I picked it up again that I just could not find whatever it was that had grabbed my attention in the first place.

I just completed The Rules of Magic by Alice Hoffman. I can see why she is such a popular author! I have read several more but will post them later today. I am going to bed.

HAPPY READING!😁

Haven't read that one yet, but the ones I have read of hers were very enjoyable.....

Special plots and characters and just enough "magic" to make you believe...

I picked up "Emma In the Night" but I think I've thriller-ed myself out. This is like the 4th or 5th thriller in a row and I don't have the motivation to pick it up and get into it. I'm only about a chapter in.
