Looks up "Daniel Sunjata."

Wow! That's how I pictured him! He's got that somewhat frosty, distant look but shrewd in his eyes. Perfect casting, methinks.

Katherine Heigl for Stephanie, not so much. I've always pictured Stephanie as more like Sandra Bullock in Ms. Congeniality.

No thoughts on Jason O'Mara as Morelli. Morelli sounds too much like someone I went to high school with for me to think of a good "type" for him.

Alas, I think the last one I read was six or seven years ago. They did start sounding the same after a while.

Reese Witherspoon was originally cast as Stephanie Plum, but I can't see her in that role either. Would have rather they gotten an unknown.

I agree about Katherine Heigl......she's just not right. Piper Perebo (Coyote Ugly) would have been a better choice or anybody who can carry off a quirky-type character.

Just googled Daniel Sunjata.....oh yes, he will be great as Ranger. Same for the dude playing Morelli.

Debbie Reynolds as Grandma?? Isn't she a little too "goody goody"? I thought Chloris Leachman would be more brash and better for the role.

*Team Morelli*

Nooo, he's all wrong in my opinion... an Irishman to play an Italian-American? He doesn't look Italian AT ALL. He looks absolutely nothing like how I pictured Morelli.

How about Betty White as Grandma? Wouldn't she be a hoot?

This thread has been simmering in the back of my mind...so when I just happened to see Finger Lickin Fifteen at the pharmacy...(and am behind in reading her books), grabbed it to buy...

So tonight I get to take RANGER to bed with me!

So, has anybody read it yet? I'm still stalking it at the library as I am too cheap to pay for a book that will take me 3-4 hours to read.
