Not being able to flip back easily is one of the few negative features of ebooks.

For me the positive outweighs the negative.

Part of the issue is I get so excited when I go to the library from reading the back flaps that I end up taking too many home, lol. Then I have a return date so I feel I need to read those first. I imagine that would change if I borrowed e-books from the library. Right now I own all of mine.

You can read the same information online.

Ebooks return themselves. You can get them from your library from home via the Internet.

I buy maybe 3-4% of my ebooks, the rest I get from libraries. I have no use for fiction I have already read. And if I did I could just check it out again.

I do have a nice reference library of non-fiction books based on my hobbies and other interests. I pick what books to add to my reference collection by checking out tons of library books, and then buying only perhaps the best few out of 20.

I use my kindle to read books off of kindle unlimited. Other than that I really prefer paper books.

I am much more comfortable reading paper books. I get more pleasure, and also do not damage my eyes.
