I want to recommend a book I've just read, The Informationist, by Taylor Stevens. If you like thrillers, you will love it. The author's background is interesting too. She was born into a cult and lived all around the world before returning to the USA.
The Informationist features the best new series character I've read in a long time too: Vanessa Michael Monroe. Vanessa rocks!
Taylor Stevens has also written a follow up featuring Vanessa, The Innocent, which I am going to read shortly. Plus she has a third in the series due to be published in 2013.
The Informationist is about a corporate information gatherer (Vanessa) who is hired to find a young woman who disappeared in Africa. It's a great, fast-paced book and Taylor Stevens is my favorite new author! I urge you to read and enjoy this book!
