Has anyone read "Confessions of a Sociopath" by M. E. Thomas? I need a new good book to get my nose stuck in, and I have been having trouble finding good books lately. It cought my interest but I read some negative reviews on the B&N site.

I was also thinking of downloading "The Good Nurse", which is about that male nurse cerial killer, or "Life of Pie". Any thoughts on those? Thanks!

The Life of Pi is excellent. I have not read the other two.

I can recommend a good book that is an oldie. Ann Rule's The Stranger Beside Me. Ann Rule is a noted true crime nonfiction writer and this book is about Ted Bundy. She and Bundy sat next to each other at a suicide hotline center for quite a long time and became friendly. She tells the story of his murders and other activities from the beginning. I like Rule's writing style. She worked for the police department for a long time and has excellent insight into how things are handled by the police. I could not put the book down. i read nearly every book she writes and she has written a lot of books.
