This is a link (I hope) to Khaled Hosseini's own website. I enjoyed looking at it earlier today.

Smile A very interesting young man.

Khaled Hosseini does have a direct website at www.khaledhosseini.c (broken link) . (Is this allowed? Hmmmm. It isn't an ad, right?)

He has a blog and does post frequently. He also welcomes readers to sign his guest book and comment themselves on his blog.

He is a fascinating man. I would love to see him make a personal appearance and relate some of his experiences.

Can't wait for your discussion group to begin. I hope to keep up with them all. We will all be blurry-eyed!

You are such a smart one! I have a bookmark just for Books and I have it bookmarked there, as well! I love to know "who" I am reading.

Default Never too late for a great book!

Katzenfreund, because the discussions do not have a timetable they could continue indefinitely. Read A Thousand Splendid Suns with the expectation that the discussion will still be on-going.

Resist reading the discussion before you have finished the book, however, because the thread will give plot twists and turns, character developments, etc. away. It would spoil the adventure for you of discovering the books gifts.

Enjoy!

Oh, thanks!!!
I hope it gets here soon... it will be fun to be able to discuss this book here. In my "real" life, most people seem to be too busy working to read anymore ...

katzenfreund, how delightful to see you away from the maddening crowd of the disaffected (P&oC)

Don't hesitate to read any or all of the selections, and join in the discussions as they will, undoubtedly, remain open indefinitely so that folks can catch up.
