I SO hope our efforts to start an online book club prove successful! Please join us, after you finish Hosseini's A Thousand Splendid Suns, but I would caution you to NOT join us until then. We have been discussing everything.

(Unless of course, if like me, you still enjoy reading a book for its own sake, even if you've seen an actual plot outline.)

Congratulations, little_thirsty.

I am way behind in reading and life, and we might end up in the discussion to-gether!

I hope all the thirsties get better but leave ya room enough to read. My life is slowly sorting itself out, and a new computer on its way. Reading will follow!

We are going to postpone this discussion for a few days. I'll post the change in date when gemthornton gives me the hi-sign.

Thanks to all.

I do think we can assume that one or more City-Data members, who did not sign on, might join us in our discussion. As this is a public forum, this is inevitable and permissible. Only posts that do not conform to CD ToS will be monitored and/or deleted.

Please make any suggestions or offer your input here at any time.

I did hear from her, blue62. She'll be in touch probably tonight or tomorrow.

White light to all those we care for and who need our energy, and that includes you, my friend.
