Hello, I am looking for a book about the son of a wealthy couple, who is injured in a car crash. The family hires a private nurse for their son, who is to say the least, not very nice to the nurse, but the nurse is patient and kind with him because of his circumstances. The two of them happen to fall in love with each other.

If anyone can remind me of the books title, or at least point me in the right direction, that would be greatly appreciated. It has been at least 10 years since I saw it. Thanks again.

Is this Me Before You by Jojo Moyes?
(Oops...I guess that was a motorcycle accident.) Maybe this is a common plot.

Yes, I believe it is Me before you. My girl had mentioned also that there was a second book to this, but she never got to read it. Now I can get her both books

I knew that but I read your first post and thought it said the wealthy couple were in an accident. Me Before You is a god book…and the movie will be on DVD soon

That storyline sounds a lot like The English Patient by Michael Ondaatje. I could be mistaken but it sure sounds like it. Let us know how your friend responds to the books!

Except in The English Patient, the patient was found in the wreckage of a plane crash during WWII, and the nurse doesn't know him.

And they weren't in love.

Other than that, it's absolutely the same.
