They are all in the UK. Is there a list for the US?

I found the one for the UK. My wife asked me how much it would cost to send a few hundred books back to the US.

I don't patronize bookstores that require a physical visit. There are so many wonderful browsing spots on the internet that give me the world without leaving my home. I don't salivate for the latest electronic device, but in the purchase of books (I mean physical books) I use the most modern and convenient means.

Lest anyone think I'm not really a bibliophile, I'll mention that I own over 20,000 books, a few hundred electronic and the rest physical.

I love private bookstores, but the UK is a bit far for me.

If you're ever in Montpelier, VT be sure to visit Bear Pond Books: Matching Readers With Books since 1973 perfect for a freezing cold winter day in VT.

Another wonderful bookstore is R.J. Julia Booksellers | A great place to meet books located in Madison CT. We have a bad habit of stopping in "just for a couple minutes" and walking out hours later.

If you're visiting Cape Cod be sure to swing by The Brewster Bookstore :: Home Page :: Cape Cod Books and Gifts

Quaint and worth a visit, I'm sure.

I must be the only bibliophile on earth who has grown to prefer online browsing and purchasing, though. I'm not wild about bricks and mortar bookstores at this point. I don't like someone else curating the stock and narrowing my choices. Not when there's such an abundance of online options.
