I bought the E-version, and didn't make it past page 5. Then I listened to the audio version, and I loved it...but obviously missed out on the endnotes. So, I'm attempting the E version again. (The nice thing about the E version, I've discovered, is that when I click on the number indicating an endnote, it takes me right to then the endnote. When I'm done, the back button takes me back to where I was in the book.)

So....any helpful hints? Not an easy book to read......

There's another thread on this book from a few years ago, below. I read about 2/3 of the book. I really admired David Foster Wallace, and he was certainly a talented writer. However, it seemed as if two different people wrote the book (a result of his clinical depression?). It started to get confusing to me at about the half way point.
