I just started "Time Traveler's Wife," and it's one that's been on my list for a LONG time. I happen to be a librarian, and have always been obsessed with time travel... so a book about a time traveling librarian was a must read! Unfortunately I don't get much pleasure reading time, so it might take me a while to get through. But I'm glad to hear another good review, and I'll let you know what I think.
P.S. I'm on page 60-ish right now, and so far enjoying it.
My daughter just recommended this book "Time Traveler's Wife" to me. She only recommends books that she has really enjoyed and we seem to always enjoy the same kind of reading. It is next on my list.
Shouldn't this thread be in Books?
Anyway, TTTW is one of my all-time favorites.
Henry de Tamble is so dashing and romantic and smart and hip.
If you like this book and think you might enjoy other, similar time travel books, message me for some suggestions.
Since "Somewhere in Time" was one of my all-time favorite movies, after reading a great review of "Time Traveler's Wife," I just had to buy it. I started reading it once and set it aside when life got busy. Seeing this thread reminded me about it. I think it's time to pick it up again from the beginning. Will let you know what I think.
I looked for a book thread but i couldnt find it so i just put it in with hobbies. Glad to hear others are enjoying the book. Ive pursuaded my mum and a few friends to read it so im looking forward to hearing their thoughts too.

I would have preferred someone else.
Don't get me wrong, I love Eric Bana.
But for Henry, I was thinking more along the lines of Christian Bale, who does that tall skinny romantic schtick so well, and does a flawless American accent.
But I will reserve judgment until I see Bana's performance.
