I adore Lemony Snicket and have the entire series of "Unfortunate Events" . I will listen to it now.
Thanks.

Just did - Wonderful "Schonberg - incomprehensible but dead !" - Love it.

I am just reading a series of Children's Ghost and Horror stories by Christ Priestley including the wonderful " Uncle Montague's tales of terror" and "Tales of Terror from the black ship" , they are IMO excellent . And I love the illustrations too.

Have you read also Philip Ardagh's books, not in the same league as Lemony Snicket but still quite funny.

I love children's books, I always think a good children's book must be the hardest thing to write as you have to hone your craft and refine it in such a manner as to not bore your subject.. Kids do not put up with boring or bad books , they feel no compunction to "finish" something they hate.
