Book w/ buried treasure? (publish)

Does anyone remember this book (and title)? It was in the late 80s I think, where they published a book and in it was riddles and you had to figure out the riddles and if you did, you would find a piece of jewelry or something?

I am racking my brains trying to figure out what that book was? I never bought it. Did that treasure ever get found? Anyone?

Are you thinking of A Treasure's Trove? That may not be it, as it was just a few years ago, but I remember it being a big news item when the treasure was found.
