Harry Potter
Anyone else have read all 6 books so far, and waiting in bated breath for the 7th and final book?

Yes, and I have started reading the series again so I can have it fresh in my mind by the time the 7th book is out.

I'm embarrassed to say that I've contemplated getting a motel room for the weekend so I can read it at one sitting without my family bothering me. I won't really do that, but suffice it to say, "Leave Mama alone" will be the theme of the weekend.

I've read them all (better than the movies) and I can't hardly wait for the final book to arrive. I preordered from Amazon and will it in my hands on "July 21, 2007, guaranteed".
Can't wait!
Hubby already knows he's cooking, cleaning and talking to himself that weekend. LOL!

I've read all 6 books and i am very excited and anxious about reading the last one. I'm a really big fan of the HP books and I find the end very bitter-sweet. I'm curious to see how all the loose ends are tied up and how it ends, but i'm going be so sad that i won't get to read anymore of these books. I pre-ordered it on Barnes and Noble months ago and i can't wait until it comes in the mail. I'm also really curious to see how my theories add up to the real answers to all the unresolved issues.

Any theories for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows?

I just finished the first one. I know a day late and a dollar short. But I am wondering, it was SO close to the movie, are the other books just as close?

The second book is fairly close to the movie, but as you get further along into the series (books 3 & 4), it seems like more things are either left out or altered in order to make the movie not so horribly long. I remember watching Prisoner of Azkaban before I ever read the series, and I was a little lost on what was going on near the end. After I read the book, it made so much more sense.
