My boyfriend is starting law school in Andover this fall. He needs to be in Andover by 6:30 pm 3 nights a week. I hear it will take a ridiculously long time to get there since he is traveling on 495 and 93 (he works in the Pru). Any educated guesses on how long it might take him to get there?

I know it takes about 45-50 minutes to get from Brighton to the Rt-133 exit in Andover off I-93 at 8am if you take Storrow Dr to I-93 North. Since he's going to be doing the evening commute in the same direction as all the other commuters, then it will definitely be at least an hour, but that's about the best I can estimate. It might even be longer than that.

If he works in the Pru, he should take 93 all the way up. If he leaves work at 5pm, he MAY just make it by 6:30. Traffic is HORRIBLE at time...

But he works at the Pru, so if he moves closer to Andover, then he'll have a longer commute to work. Either way, he's either going to have a long commute in the morning or the evening. He can pick his poison.
