seeing that 2 Diasporas are pretty well very huge in Boston and boston,s greater area. i would like to know if these 2 groups live with each other since their are of the same basic race, or do they each have their own part of town?

I would not say that Haitians and Cape Verdeans are segregated into separate areas of town. There are kinda two major centers for Cape Verdean immigrants, one is the city of Brockton (abt 1 hr south of Boston), and the other is the Columbia Ave area of Dorchester (a neighborhood in Boston itself). Haitians are most concentrated in the Boston neighborhoods of Mattapan, Hyde Park, and Dorchester, but there are also a lot in Brockton too. So yeah they do each have certain parts of town they are known for, but usually wherever you find haitians you will probably find cape verdeans too and vice versa.

There are also significant numbers of Hatians in Cambridge. However, these are some of the poorest Haitians in MA with only 5.5% owning their house with many living in public housing in north and port

Not really; most Cape Verdeans in Boston (there are a lot more in and around New Bedford/Fall River) live in the area around Upham's Corner (on the border of Roxbury and Dorchester). And, most Haitians live in Mattapan/Hyde Park.

Cape Verdeans speak a variant on Portuguese and Haitians speak a French Creole. Cape Verdeans are from an island chain off of Africa and Haitians are from the Caribbean.

I guess what I'm saying is that there's not really a lot of commonality there.

I gotta say right here...I really like the mix of immigrants that Boston seems to attract.

Brazilians, Haitians, Cape Verdeans, Vietnamese, Irish, etc.

Just a whole lot more interesting than the typical 'Mexican' or whatever else in other places.
