I'm the maid of honor for my sister's wedding and I'm looking for some unique, low-key bachelorette party ideas for somewhere in or around Boston. My sister is not into bar hopping and besides going to a restaurant, anyone have any good suggestions?

Thanks!!

Scavenger hunts are fun or you could go see a show. Depending on what's in town you could build a theme around that.

1) Chocolate Bar - Between September and June, the Cafe Fleuri at the Langham has a chocolate bar on weekends during brunch time. No way to describe it other than incredible (about $40/person, but I think they do group discounts).

2) Karaoke at Limelight. You can reserve a private room where you have access to a karaoke machine for just you and your friends. limelight

3) Rent a hotel room/suite - sneak in some sleeping bags and have a slumber party.

4) Jacque's Caberet - entertaining Drag Queen shows. A lot of bachelorette parties there Jacques Cabaret - Boston, MA

5) Afternoon Tea. Very proper, very British and very fun. Most of the upscale hotels host one in the afternoons (Langham, Taj (old Ritz), Four Seasons, Boston Harbor, etc.)
