This is my first post here. In the meantime, I am going to research threads to see if my question has an answer hidden.

I am relocating to Boston for new job with BMC (from indianapolis). I am planning to live in westborough and I think its a commute hassle.

But if anyone who could advice me if its worth living in westborough (my relatives live close by, hence the reason and that schools are great) to commute to BMC on daily basis.

I might get time to read books while on rail.

Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks,
Krish

You're right, the commute is a hassle.

I grew up in Westboro but I could not recommend it these days. Too much traffic and the property taxes are too high. You can do better for your money and have a better commute too.

You said better commute..could you tell me which place are you suggesting for better commute?
I see westborough has good school systems and initially I want to rent where the rent includes all utilities so I don't have to worry about the fluctuating payments.

close to commuter rail..like fountainhead apartments.

whats your take?

Windsor Ridge or Flanders Hill in Westboro are worth checking out.

If you're working in Boston you should really live inside 128. Try Watertown. Lots of rental options, like you're looking for, and I can vouch for the public schools as my high school aged nephews have thrived in that system since kindergarten.
