I'm considering a move to Metrowest. If you live in or nearby any of these towns and have insight into how long the commute is 1) during peak rush hour (leaving at 7:45), and 2) a little before peak (leaving at 6:45-7), I'd really appreciate it. As an additional, if you live in Natick and take the commuter rail to Yawkey to make it down to Longwood, I'd like to know how long that typically takes door to door.

Thanks very much!

I used to take the train from Southboro to Yawkey. If I recall it was a little less than an hour. However, there are a limited number of trains that stop at the Yawkey station. Sometimes I ended up taking the train to Back Bay, then the Green line to my office, but it was kind of a pain because the D line was perpetually slow. There are some handy tools on the MBTA site to help you map a route on public transit. www.mbta.com
