Default Build Boston Build

SO, guys, about that new skyscrapper in downtown - about that new skyscrapper above south station - do we have to wait another 20 years for them? Maybe Shanghai will have floating buildings by then.

You should check out archboston. The new one downtown (I assume you're talking about Transnational Place, aka 115 Winthrop) is essentially dead. The FAA said the height was too much and the sale of properties never happened.

South Station Tower is approved, and could probably go either way. Financing has been an issue. Anyway, height has been an issue at this one too.

I'm more hopeful that something tall will be built at the Aquarium Garage site and the Government Center Garage site.

Thanks for the link. Another failed project is the filenes building in downtown too. And what you mentioned is exactly what im talking about too. You see cities like tokyo and HK working by, in, and around all these flight obstacles (and theirs are MUCH more difficult than logan) and here we are remaining stagnant. Boston used to be one of the premier cities in the world and in the U.S. Its a shame to see Austin Texas and other Midwest middle of nowhere cities surpassing us in infrastructure.
