How many other cities can say that?
Bruins game 6 did a 33.3, Celtics vs, Lakers game 7 did a 33.9

Not much of a difference... tonights game will be close of 40

Dude, what is your problem.
Do you have THAT big of a napelon complex that everytime the Bruins rate close to or beyond the Celtics you have to broadcast it with posts:
-Here
-On HF Boards
-On the business section

It's like you have got such an inferiority complex about the Bruins lack of importance and popularity in Boston, that you feel the need to have to prove their relevance.

You also do a nice bit of "editting" with your reporting.
Did you know the Celtics outrated the Bruins on cable by 40% this year?
Did you know the Bruins have never outrated the Celtics on cable?

This is what you do, you brag about the 10 or 100 times a year the Bruins outrate the Celtics, wow...do you think Celtic fans do this 90 of the 100 times a year they outrate you?
Nope.

Why? Because Celtic fans aren't racist immature babies who can't get over that in a so called hockeytown they still aren't relevant unless they get the bandwagon involved.

You prove your point, and make the case each time when you post about a Bruins v Celtics rating, I don't think Celtics need to prove themselves, but apparently you have this paranoia about the Bruins being unpopular and 4th locally, and it shows.

Loser.
Oh, and coward because you refuse to acknowledge and directly answer me in PMs.

In general hockey in the United States is less popular in Boston, but I would say that the Bruins fever this time was a lot bigger than the Celtics fever when they won it all in 2008.

Boston is a fairweather hockeytown, did you go the playoffs in 2003 or where you too busy to be at games in 2006, that is the Boston I always will recall.

^ Ya ok... : /

The game earned a 43.4/64 in Boston, the best for a hockey game since records began being kept for the market in 1991. That’s higher than any game in the Celtics’ last two NBA finals appearance.
Ratings represent the percentage of all homes with televisions tuned into a program. Shares represent the percentage of all homes with TVs in use at the time. Overnight ratings measure the country’s largest markets.

Sorry, in my statement I meant to say that overall hockey is less popular in the United States than basketball. Hockey has a big following though in New England, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, the Dakotas. The south, west, and southwest just don't have the hockey following on average.
