Yep. I worked with a group of kids today and the girls were fascinated with my dangling earrings, they kept touching them and wanted to play with them. I was like dude these cheap earrings ive had for years they were 3.99 on sale. But as i looked around i realized i was the only chick wearing earrings in the room

I'm originally from New Hampshire got up and moved to Los Angeles. I suddenly moved back to Boston proper for work..

Here is the scary part, I work in the fashion industry.
Scarier. People think salmon shorts and north face jackets are fashion. The only fashion Boston promotes is conformity.

Don't be afraid to wear some color and throw off some pilgrim shoes. I mean, please!

I went to Gypsy and while I was in a very long line to enter, two light skinned black girls (maybe Brazilian?) walked across the line that were dressed better than I've ever seen here before. In NY noone would have batted an eye, but I thought they were both dressed up very sexy. They had tight dresses on with high heels and had lots of accessories on - earrings, necklaces, multiple bangles, etc.

As they walked by I heard multiple comments from girls in the line like:
"OMG, sluut dot com"
"Geez, skanks a lot"
"Hos are here"

The girls might have overheard the comments and decided not to get on the end of the line, much to my dismay.

Moral of the story: Maybe people are afraid to dress well since Bostonians will hate them for that.

I can't believe this thread is still going.

My new Pajama Jeans came in today. They allow me to be comfortable AND fashionable at the same time. Game over, GQ.

I can see how you'd think that if Gypsy is your go-to. But that tells me more about your taste (or lack thereof) than anything else.

I've posted club suggestions dozens of times in this forum. Feel free to utilize the search feature.
