Boston is no fun, they should change their entire culture for me.

Well, see, there's the issue right there.

As progressive as Boston is, it's still very much a Puritan-esque place. We still have blue laws. Excluding college students, the overall population skewers "older".

The T tried to resurrect all-night service. It was shelved for lack of passengers vs. the cost to keep it running.

A lot of people say stuff about Puritans and whatnot, but the nasty truth is that a lot of the restrictive laws regarding fun stuff are a product of the late 20th century.

Just Saying the London Tube only introduced night service in June of 2016, and Tokyo Japan has no service between 1 and 5. so Boston isn't exactly Backwater for not having 24/7 service, in fact it is normal in that regard.

And Chicago does not run all of their subway lines overnight, correct? Not sure when they start to shut the first of them down, though.

Do all buses run 24/7 or just select major routes?

Ah, I didn't realize not having 24/7 service seems to be the norm unless you're in NYC.

2 of Chicago's lines run 24 hrs - the blue line and red line.

Cleveland has a24/7 bus rapid transit line from downtown to university circle. Even buffalo has 4 am closing time for bars.

Our bars do close early. I've always heard that was from the pressure of the Universities here, but I have no idea if that is true.
