Hi all!

I just landed a job in Kendall square and now need to move to Boston down from NH. I've been doing a little bit of research, and what I've found is that all of the apartments in Kendall are WAY out of my price range. I'm expecting to be able to afford between 1500-2000/mo.

My only requirement is that its not tiny (above 500 sq ft would be nice) and that its T accessible, preferably on the red line.

The one complex that I've found in my price range is Mystic Place, which has horrible reviews and is nowhere near the T.

Any places come to mind?

Thanks!

Brian

Quincy Center has Munroe Place above a Starbucks and the even newer Ten Faxon Place, near the library and YMCA, not to far from Quincy Shore Drive. These are usually featured in those monthly apt. guides found at stores and news boxes.

2 Hancock St. overlooks the Neponset River and red line tracks, not far from the N. Quincy stop. Nice building but may be noisy with the tracks out your window.

These places should fall well below $2,000 for a 1 bedroom, as they're not right in Bos/Cambridge.

You can definitely find a good 1 bedroom for $1800/$2000. I would try searching for areas around Central Square, and between Harvard & Porter on Mass Ave.
