Im might be moving to Abington MA from CT. Can anyone give me some information on the town of Abington, MA. (good town?, tough area?, schools, safe place to be at night?)

I live on the south shore near Abington and I would call it a typical NE town - people from Abington tend to stay in Abington, work in or near Abington and keep it local. I would say that it is a fine town and has OK schools and low crime - somewhat working class but becoming more white collar - I think that they people there are happy.

I'd stay away from neighborhoods close to Brockton or Randolph, especially Brockton. What made you choose Abington?
