I live in Florida and was raised here, and never have been to Boston.....anyways ....I just thought of this.....but since the Red Sox won the World Series....can the Patriots, Celtics, Bruins, and Boston College teams pull off something that no other city has done and win all the titles within the same year for each of thier sports.....?
I just noticed that the Patriots are beating every team by an average of 25 pts per game....and the Celtics have some pieces that make them a contender for the NBA title.....and Boston College is ranked up there in the top 5 teams now and might get to play in the college football championship game.....but i know nothing of the Bruins so ill let you guys inform me..... It must be good to be a fan of everything Boston right now.....I am a fan of everything Miami so im kind of jealous of all the good times your teams are having right now...Good Luck What does everyone think....can Boston be the first city to hold all major titles in sports within the same year? |

Nope. The patriots have the best chance out of the remaining New England teams though. The celtics will be competitive but many Western Conference teams are still a lot better...so they could make it to the finals but most likely won't win. The bruins are ok, but not great either.
And Boston College, although ranked #2 in the country really isn't the 2nd best team in the country. I wouldn't even say they are in the top #5. If they played teams like LSU, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Oregon, Florida, and a few others then Boston College wouldn't stand much of a chance. They got beaten pretty badly by Virginia Tech for 57 minutes before VT basically gave them the game. I credit BC with not giving up, but they were completely outplayed by an average/good VT team. |

No chance for the Bruins, either. B.C.? I think they're Boston's answer to the Rockies. It's a nice story, but IF they hang onto the number two spot, the team that's really the best (probably Ohio State) is out there waiting to trounce them at the final stage.
