On the plus side for the silver line loop, it's free, so if you're not in a hurry you can save 2.45
Just want to note that this is incorrect information. The red line does not go to North Station. You would do BOS-shuttle-Blue Line from Airport to State-Orange Line from State to North Station

Default airport to Amtrak station timing

Hi, All,
We arrive at the Logan airport on a Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. We are wondering if we can make it to the Amtrak station for the 6:15 Downeaster taking a taxi.

If you don't have to wait for checked baggage, would recommend taking an Uber and you should make it. Just look for the signs pointing to "TNC/App Ride" for the Uber pickup location.

You should make it but everything has to go 100% perfect. If your flight is delayed or you get stuck in traffic leaving the airport, you could miss your train.

Uber Black is crazy expensive. I only use Uber X.

I didn't know they could pick up at the airport. It wasn't an option for me last time.

It only started a few months ago. There is a designated pick up spot.

Yes--the trick is to request UberX or UberPool, and go to the TNC/App Ride waiting areas (each terminal has one; clearly marked).
