Hello everyone, I know this is a sort of a weird question but it's definitely something that's hard to find out on the internet without just asking people. Anyway, I recently moved into Savin Hill and am looking for a place to do some fishing from the shore. I live within walking distance of Savin Hill and Malibu beaches and so anything right around there would be good, but I just don't know.

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Anywhere there are piers would be a good place. Downtown might be a little far but I see people fishing all the time along the Harborwalk in various places, especially out on the Casueway past M Street Beach. That's a great spot I think because it gets pretty far out into the harbor. Also, I don't know what kind of fishing you do but I see a lot of people doing that sort of wading with a net type thing in Pleasure Bay and off M Street and those beaches over there, and by Malibu Beach. I haven't really paid attention to it but there might be some spots in Pope John Park and certainly some out by Squantum. Sorry if it's getting farther away but there's not too much fishing in Dot that I can say besides just listing different parts of the harbor.

Not a wierd question at all. Popes park that is along the Neponset river is a popular fishing place, there is a walking path that starts in from the Port section and goes into Popes park. that is where I have seen alot of fishers. Tinean beach is another. These are not too far from Malibu beach, but preferably a short drive.

You're in Savin Hill, just walk to the JFK Library and fish off the walkway there.
