I think they like to believe they are, but I've sat many times in the student section and very few know what is going on or who plays on their team.

They had trouble selling out games this year, wait until next year when they will probably be around .500. New England just isn't a college football area, the area is way more concerned with the red sox.

Although BC isn't a big-time football program compared to other schools around the country...for that reason they do graduate a very high percentage of their athletes.

That surprises me as I hear that there is a lot of school pride. Yeah, the Sox and the Pats, but still college ball is where it is at. For 99% of those kids that is all they have, their moment of glory, they will not go pro. They play their hearts out because of it and do it with out the multi million dollar paycheck.

My prediction is within the next 5-10 years UCONN will have the best college football team in the New England area.

A Saturday in the fall is all about the Sox in Boston...as it should be! I might pay a little attention when the mention the BC score on the news but nah...I'd rather see what the Pats/Sox matchups are going to bring on Sunday.

I still prefer the Cask N' Flaggon, but the others aren't bad depending on the night.
