Brookline Parents - Anyone's Kids Go to Lincoln School? Need your thoughts: (rent)

Hi Everyone,

We moved to Brookline a year ago and are thinking of buying a place sooner than later, if we can. One area we like (and can potentially afford) is the Pill Hill area in the Lincoln School District. Im freaking myself out, however, doing internet research and not finding the best things about the William H. Lincoln School. Our kids are only a little over 1 y/o right now, and I know things can change a lot in the next few years (especially b/c I see they are looking for yet another principal, etc.) - but then I wonder if that fact in itself is reason to be concerned (they've had 5 or something in 6 yrs).

Does anyone have experience in this school? what do you think? Is it ok? What type of education and philosophies do they have? (i.e. is it more character building and play in the early years or otherwise?) Are there sports and language and arts offered there? How has your experience with the teachers been? How about the neighborhood in general? Is there a sense of community? Would you buy / rent there again?
