Hi,

I am a photographer based out of Boston and I want to start teaching introductory photography classes to Boston/Cambridge residents. My concern is not so much about how to get students. I have a way to do that.

I am more concerned about where I could teach these classes. I do not have any studio/office space currently. What I will need is a small studio/office for a 3-4 hours/week in the evenings? Any idea where I could get space or shared studios like that?

I am drawing a big blank on this and very much appreciate your help.

Thanks in advance!

Cambridge or Brookline both have Adult Community Educational centers. Maybe you should check with them first.

The Boston University CDIA has an extensive film and photography program and studio spaces in Waltham. Perhaps, they would allow you to rent the space for some kind of fee during an off time.

they are closing
their contract with BU is expiring, and they are looking for other partners...

i was supposed to start their program in September, changed my whole schedule to be able to attend...And then they wrote me in August that they are closing the program....Just got my money back after sending them numerous angry emails....

sorry for the rant
