Which parts of Boston have rails that are operating on the weekend too? Is there any 24/7 hour rails?

Plenty of commuter rail lines do run on the weekend including one of the lines that serve Canton. The problem is the frequency on the weekends is very low. No mass transit in Boston is 24/7.

Yes, but during the middle of the night the frequency of everything slows down considerably.

The only places in the US with 24 hour rail transit are the NYC Subway, PATH (NYC-NJ), PATCO (Philly-NJ), and the Chicago L, although Chicago only runs part of their system 24 hours, not all lines.

As for frequency, the very late night hours in NYC are often going to be 20-30min between trains, depending on line.

Commuter rail is not 24 hours anywhere in the US.
