From the airport to the Kenmore T stop you would either take the airport shuttle to the blue line inbound and change to the green line outbound at govt center or take the silver line to south station, change to the red line outbound, and switch at Park St to the green line outbound. You can take luggage on the subway, but if it's during rush hour the train will be crowded.

Yes, it's easy.

The most direct way (and quickest) will be to take the Blue Line from the Airport station 3 stops to Government Center and switch to a Green Line "Outbound" train to Kenmore station. Any Branch but the "E" will be fine. You'll see signs with directions to Fenway Park. Follow those as they're designed for visitors and Fenway uses the same station (Kenmore) that you need. The Hotel is just steps from the station. You'll likely see the big "Hotel Buckminster" sign as soon as you exit the station. To get the Blue Line you have to pick up the free Blue Line shuttle at your terminal. You'll see signs for it at Ground Transportation and they run frequently. It's a quick ride to the Airport station from the terminal.

The other way is a little longer, but it's free (vs. $2.50 for the Blue Line). Pick up the Silver Line articulated bus at your terminal (it stops at all of them). Take that all the way to South Station. At South Station take an Alewife bound Red Line train 2 stops to Park Street. At Park Street, switch to an Outbound Green Line train (again, any branch but the "E") and, just like the steps above, take that to Kenmore.

While rush hour may be busier, it shouldn't be too difficult to get on the train with your luggage. You certainly won't be the only one. The Silver Line has luggage racks onboard which makes at least that segment a bit easier. It's also worth noting that if you plan on arriving in Boston after March, the second option (Silver/Red/Green) will be your best bet as Government Center Station closes in March for renovations making the Blue/Green transfer a it trickier. In any case, it's definitely easy and it'll save you $30+ in cab fares.
