Hello all,
We're traveling to Boston 4/10-4/16 (from California) for opening day. We will be staying in Quincy and will be renting a car. I've been reading a lot of "traffic/parking nightmare" stories. Can I please get some advice as to what would be the best way to get to Fenway. It's our 2nd time in Boston but we stayed at prudential last time and just walked to Fenway, we didn't even need a car the entire week. We are planning a lot of sightseeing as well as taking a drive up the coast.
Restaurant suggestions are also welcome...
THANK YOU! In advance!

To be honest I'd take the red line (three stations in Quincy) up and change to the Green line at Park Street, and take it to Kenmore. Parking can run $50, traffic is never fun, and taking the T allows you to have a couple beers and relax without worrying about anything but enjoying the game and atmosphere.

And they may even be able to have removed the snow by then so the trains are running regularly.

Definitely take the T as suggested above.

For dinner, try Fat Cat in Quincy Center.

Near Fenway, Sweet Cheeks has really good BBQ.

You're welcome. Enjoy.

Oh, and I really like Tasty Burger. Kind of a guilty pleasure. Gorgonzola burger, a 50/50 and a 'gansett, and then a ballgame? That's a good night.
