Can anyone recommend a lumber yard in Dorchester area? Or greater Boston area? I'm specifically looking for fence pickets- Home Depot & Lowes are pricey.

DBS Lumber Roxbury and Roslindale
Norfolk Hardware Mattapan
Devon Lumber Dorchester
Cambridge Lumber Cambridge
New England Building Supply Lower Roxbury
Burnett & Moynihan Watertown
Sterritt Lumber Watertown
East Dedham Builders Supply Dedham

I doubt you will be able to just buy pickets. You may to get a fence section or make your own.

They are a great resource but they specialize in mouldings - they don't offer any basic building materials.

That Devon place in Dorchester is a pretty good place. Before you enter the road, there is a Sherwin Williams place as well a tool place across the street. Good little home remodeling shopping area.
