Hello internet strangers. I'm planning a move to the Boston area for work, and facing the triple whammy of a tight budget, off-cycle move, and short timeline. I'm interested in a unit in the Regency apartment building at 1455 Commonwealth Ave. I can't make it up for a showing, and while I originally planned to have a friend (or friend-of-friend) look for me, the schedules just aren't working out. I have a good sense of the unit itself from photos, a video tour, and a floor plan, but those are all produced to sell units. Is anyone familiar with the building and management? I'm not looking for anything fancy - just need to know if the building is safe, clean, and the management/owner(s) are decent human beings.

No idea about the management, but the area is fine. I used to live on Kelton Street opposite. It's quieter than further up Comm Ave (where I live now) and Harry's bar opposite is great.
