Hi,
I have some anxiety and depression I need help with. I seem to have trouble finding a good therapist. Would be great if I could get a recommendation. Thanks!

You could ask your insurance provider. They often have referral systems.

They do, but they're often not very helpful really. They have lists, but the majority aren't accepting new patients, and their geographic information of these providers is often incorrect so you're given contact of people far away. Best to ask individuals.

I would recommend you not take referrals from an on line forum. Ask you primary care provider.

Not funny. Making light of anxiety and depression just isn't funny. You should be ashamed of yourself.

(But I am sorry about your drinking problem.)

I don't suffer from my drinking problem, I enjoy it!

Also, wouldn't you rather kill your liver with alcohol over a long period than immediately kill your brain with all the crap that gets prescribed the moment you walk into a shrink's office?
