I'll be in Boston for a weekend in July seeing a concert .
The concert is a Saturday night so I was looking for ideas of fun stuff to do in the area Friday and Sunday ?

Friday night I have interest in going to the best bar scene Boston has to offer , which district or area should I check out . Something clubby with music blasting . I'll be using uber as my source of transportation and I'll be staying in back bay

Depends on your scene. Fanueil Hall area is reliably hopping, but it's mostly tourists/suburbanites. If there's a Sox game, the Fenway area will be rowdy. If the weather is nice, there's good patio drinking/waterfront views in the Seaport District (Northern Ave). If you're into "Da Club" you'll find what you like in the Theater District or around Downtown Crossing. If you're under 25, you'll fit in in Allston around Harvard Ave. If you're into more of the hipster vibe, go up to Camberville - Davis Square, Harvard Square, Central Square, on the Red Line. (The T is safe and mostly fast/efficient outside of rush hour despite the grousing you'll hear). Or Union Square in Somerville (quick Uber from any of the aforementioned T stops).

Also some good bars near Fenway along Landsdowne street and near the TD Garden.
