Really? Changing Faneuil Hall? Why don't we just not have street names, statues or monuments of any kind, so the delicate snowflakes don't get offended. This is getting ridiculous.

Nope. Not in 90% of Massachusetts communities.

So, why could one hop on a plane in the 1980s without a reservation, without a ticket, or without being IDed, and do all that when the plane was 30,000 feet above the ground in flight. Why cant you do that in these present decades if there have been great strides in society

And as a side note, there were many illegal aliens living in Boston in the 1980s

Wait til the Jewish named bridge in Boston needs to be changed and Jewish monuments need to be torn down. Read up on the Million Man March and what was being said about slavery and Jewish involvement------What difference does it make if it was true or not.

Might not happen today or tomorrow, what about the Next Generation of tearing down history symbols in America.

Crime was much much higher in the 80s across the entire country. Not ever really close.

Very true.

If Faneuil Hall undergoes a name change, I really don't care. I haven't gone in any store or restaurant in that area in many years. It's basically a tourist trap.

Can't read the article - is he talking about renaming Faneuil Hall or Quincy Market?

Why don't we rename America as well while we're at it? I mean, Vespucci was a murderous slave-owning a $$hole, no reason to cut him any slack.

How can we rename America? America is the name of two continents and we're only a small part of it. It's not like "America" is just the "United States of America". We could rename the latter.
