This seems very unlikely. Why do you say that? Because of Louis CK and Bill Burr?

Nah, I just got a kick out of some of the recent posts. They struck me as lighthearted and funny.

Nothing more serious than that. It was a compliment.

I love Burr and Louis CK and I think people from Boston and the Northeast in general have that sense of humor. Like Bill Engvall is famous somewhere but I'm not a fan.

Steven Wright is one of my favorites too. As well as Patrice O'Neil. Conan O'Brien is hilarious to me. his delivery is spot on.

I actually think Dane Cook is funny. I know he got hugely popular and then got backlash for being a "Frat Boy" comic and all of a sudden it wasn't cool to think Dane Cook was funny. But if Comedy Central plays his special I'll watch.

I agree. That's a sign of intelligence.

They're both famous everywhere, now, but I know what you mean. When I saw Burr came in San Antonio, he sold out in minutes. Engvall is a snooze.

Steven Wright is brilliant. I remember his bit about powdered water and not knowing what to add to it...and somehow he keeps a straight face. That takes talent.
