I split my time between London and Boston. Lived in the Boston area for almost a decade full time and still own a home in Inman Sq in Cambridge.

If it’s on my list I’ve eaten there, eating at new restaurants is one of my hobbies. Thankfully playing football (soccer) and long distance running are also hobbies so it balances out

As a matter a fact I am in Somerville now about to watch the 11am match at Bronwyn. Stop by and I’ll buy a round.

Wish I had seen this list when I was in Boston last week.

I did pick up a delicious Porchetta sandwich from Salumeria Italiana in North End for my flight home. OMG!! That was the best Italian sandwich I've had in a long time. The place is an Italian grocery store, not a restaurant or even a deli, but they clearly know their meat!

After watching Neymar in the Brazil - Switzerland game I suggest Brazil's venue be moved from a restaurant to any local pool for all the diving he did. Painful and embarrassing to watch.

All too common, unfortunately.

I believe it. Even your little Italy, touristy though it is, still manages to retain that small neighborhood feel and charm (unlike Manhattan). That Italian grocery store I went to mostly had locals shopping when I was there (I was there a little bit after 8am since I was heading to the airport right after. Little old Italian ladies shopping for their sopressata, etc, bantering back and forth in Italian with the workers. World Cup playing loudly on their TV, I felt like I was in a different world!). Their selections of cured meat and fresh cheeses were also excellent.

Soundbites is excellent. Good suggestion. And the Moroccan dishes are my favorite.

I think soccer is boring. That said, I have seen a version played in doors with boards around the rink like in hockey and that was a awesome game. Put some boards around a soccer field and the game might become interesting.
