noramidwest is on a distinguished road
nora from the midwest, moving to Boston with an 8th grader next year, would like to know which area of boston have a best public school. i will appreciate any information or suggestions, thanks again

Are you moving to Boston the city or Boston the vague geographic area that includes the dozens of suburbs that mean something to those of us who live here but mean nothing to someone from the midwest? There can be a big difference.

Anyway, trying to get a recommendation for the best public school on here is a lot going to a automotive forum and asking for the best car: there is a vague correlation between performance and price and the answer ultimately depends on you more than on some objective answer for "best". If you want a useful answer, as opposed to a debate between Ferrari and Lamborghini when what you need is an Accord, you'll need to be more specific. Where do you plan on working, how do you plan to commute, what kind of housing do you want, what kind of community do you want, how much do you have to spend, etc...
