Traffic depends upon the time you are on the freeway. Where and what time would you have to be in Boston. That would at least give us the information to go by.

Thank you for responding...I was hoping to take the T and it would be during normal rush hour times. I am guessing it will take more then 30minutes to get to Boston....

It would take more than an hour. There is no direct T service to Burlington - you've have to take a bus to Oak Grove. At best 20 minutes on bus, 20 on T, plus whatever it takes from home to station then station to work/school.

Driving's not much better.

Burlington is a good place for people who don't want to go to Boston.

I live in Bedford and if I leave at 5:45 am it only takes me about 20 min to get to the airport, same on the weekends. That is the only time I go into Boston is to leave on travel and to go into the city on the weekends, since I live and work locally. True there is no direct access to the T you need to take a bus to the station which will definitely add time to your commute.

I assume you mean any public transit when you say the T? Where in Boston do you need to go?

It would take more than 30 mins. There's an express bus from Burlington (352?) that takes about 40-45 mins from the mall to State St. They run every 20-30 mins from 6 to 9 AM.

It's also not all that far (10-15 mins barring traffic) to Anderson Woburn station, which has a massive parking lot and a train that's just under 30 mins to North Station.

If it's a Christian school, you're not tied into to a public district. You could live a few minutes from the school in the direction of Anderson Woburn in Reading, Woburn, or Wilmington and the commute to Boston and to the school would be OK.
