Default Internship in Boston this summer, any suggestions for subleasing?

Hi there,

I am a Junior at Michigan State University and I have recently accepted an internship in the Boston area starting the first week in June through the second week in August.
I am looking for cheap, but still safe, as I have never been to Boston before. I want to live as close to downtown as I can get without paying a ridiculous amount. I was looking into the Brighton/Allston area.

If anyone has any suggestions or ideas for me, I would appreciate anything!

Thanks!

A lot of students (BU, BC, etc) rent off-campus houses in the Allston/Brighton area and then do not move in until September. So you might want to just call some realtors and ask about this. Here are some realtors in the area... all probably have websites...

Next Gen Realty Inc
Comm Ave Associates
City Central Realty
Phoenix Realty
East Coast Realty
AllBostonRealty.com
Gateway Real Estate Group
Greenline Realty
City Realty Group
Boston's Best Realty

Allston is definitely the right area to look. A lot of college kids gone for the summer. I might actually know someone looking to sublet. I'll get back to you.
